Candidate aspiring to join B.Arch., in an Indian college/department/school should have 50% marks in 10 +2 or equivalent examination (with mathematics as one of the subjects).

Candidates should have achieved 40% score in the National Aptitude Test for Architecture (NATA), i.e., at least 80/200 an online test conducted by the CoA, New Delhi. The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is conducted by the CoA through its academic unit National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture (NIASA) Pune. We are happy to inform you that the our Cheran School of Architecutre is a council approved NATA Exam Center.

The admission is carried out by Anna University based on the marks obtained in NATA and the qualifying examinations in the ratio of 50:50. Our school of architecture is approved by the CoA, New Delhi and this school is affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai. TNEA Counselling Code – 2363


We comprehensively guide financially backward students to obtain scholarships offered by Central and State Government agencies. In addition, fees concessions are given to the admirable students based on their academic performance.


On completing of this B.Arch., 5 year programme and proper registration with the CoA, candidates are allowed to use the title Architect. Graduates may join architectural firms or architectural departments within governments or statutory bodies that practice locally or internationally. Talented candidates can operate their own independent architectural firm. Further this design oriented under graduation degree allows for a grand list of master degree programmes and doctoral studies in various fields.
